At Onitsha Business Hangout (OBH), we unite entrepreneurs, professionals, and investors under one vibrant platform, combining expert panels, networking sessions, workshops, and mentorship, to nurture innovation and economic growth.

Our History:

Founded in 2022 by Mr. Ogbaji Ifeanyi Chukwu of the Onitsha Twitter (now X) Community, OBH recognized the need for a central hub in Onitsha's bustling commercial landscape. Since then, the platform has gained credibility and momentum, connecting buyers, founders, and professionals. In January 2024, we partnered with Onitsha Business School to offer free mentorship and entrepreneurial training to local startups.

An avenue for entrepreneurs to connect with partners, collaborators, and investors

OBH has quickly become a vibrant and influential force in the Onitsha business ecosystem. It has fostered a thriving community of entrepreneurs, investors, and professionals with a lot of impacts. OBH events provide an avenue for entrepreneurs to connect with potential partners, collaborators, and investors. OBH hosts panel discussions featuring industry experts. This event provides entrepreneurs with valuable insights into best practices, market trends, and growth strategies.

OBH has established a partnership for a free mentorship program that started January 2024 with Onitsha Business School (OBS), where entrepreneurs are mentored to navigate the challenges of starting and growing their businesses. As at April 2024,

The Onitsha Business School offered the Onitsha Twitter Community students and other entrepreneurs who joined the mentorship program, a free Entrepreneurial course of 3 months.

OBH events create a sense of camaraderie and support among entrepreneurs. Members share their experiences, challenges, and successes, fostering a spirit of innovation and collaboration.
